Laurent Jaeger

Laurent Jaeger has developed extensive experience in international arbitration over thirty years. He has acted as counsel in more than 150 arbitrations and served as president of the arbitral tribunal, sole arbitrator and/or co-arbitrator in more than 50 cases. He has a particular focus on the energy sector, construction, mining, and disputes between investors and States. 

Since 1st January 2024, Laurent has launched his own practice as an independant arbitrator. Before that, he was a partner in the Paris office of King & Spalding where he led the French international arbitration team. 

Laurent is a well recognized figure in the international arbitration community. He actively participates in the ativities  of various institutions. In particular, he served as the President of the French Arbitration Committee from 2014 to 2020 and currently serves as the President of the Arbitration Commission of ICC France.
